Every pet has a personality worth celebrating.

Hi, I’m Rebecca, the person behind Paws of Character — a little pet-inspired business created from my love of animals and the personalities that make them so special. 🐾

A big part of the inspiration behind Paws of Character is Charlie, my Romanian rescue boy.

I’ve had Charlie for around six months, and when he first came home, he was a very timid little soul. New noises, new people and new experiences could all be a little overwhelming for him. But slowly, day by day, he’s been coming out of his shell — and watching his personality emerge has been one of the most rewarding parts of having him. 🤎

My experience working with dogs in a grooming salon also played a huge part in inspiring Paws of Character. Every day I got to meet dogs with completely different personalities — the cheeky ones, the cuddly ones, the stubborn ones, the food-obsessed ones and the ones who simply wanted to be everyone’s best friend. 😂

It got me thinking:

Why not celebrate those little personalities in the things we buy and use every day?

And that’s where Paws of Character began. ✨

I wanted to create cute, beautifully illustrated gifts inspired by the quirks and personalities that make our pets uniquely ours — whether they’re professional sock thieves, enthusiastic snack inspectors, champion cuddlers or tiny bosses with very big opinions. 🐶🐱

Because they’re not just pets.

They’re characters. And they’re part of the family. 🐾
